A message for him, with a small piece of scotch tape off to the side (not on the actual screen). My coworker, today, was rude to me for doing that to his computer. He said that it was a really big pet-peeve of his. Then he stormed off. Now he's pouting today. Uh, is this a pet-peeve of anyone else's?? Please help me understand his way of thinking, because if doesn't make one bit of sense to me. I know in this day and age, there are so many more pressing topics, but, I am seriously befuddled by his thinkin'. Hello! What did I do wrong??

I don't understand how that would offend anyone, but then again there are some nutty people out there.
tanbark813 Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Unless the note said something like, "HEY, WHY DID YOU TAKE A 3 HOUR LUNCH YESTERDAY AND COME BACK SMELLING LIKE BEER?" then you're fine. While we're on the topic of pet peeves, though, I can't stand it when people come to show me something on my computer and touch my monitor and get their greasy fingerprints all over it.

If you really wanted to get back at him, you could probably just email him his next message.
