luvtoto Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I got my first kiss last night from my new guy. Things are going very well, thank you. He is great! Anyways...when I kissed him, I immediately noticed how thin his lips were. It felt like I was just kissing stubble. I didn't feel his lips hardly at all. He is a very attractive guy, and our waitress was even batting her eyes at him. But, when a man has very thin lips, will kissing always be problematic?
alphamale Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 was he scandanavian? or from england? they all have thin lips. I don't like thin lips on a girl.
pricillia Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I know what you mean.....Well you can't change who he is if you really like him then you can work around it, or at least give him a chance But I would prefer a nice set of lips as well
whichwayisup Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 But, when a man has very thin lips, will kissing always be problematic? You answered your own question.... Anyways...when I kissed him, I immediately noticed how thin his lips were. It felt like I was just kissing stubble. I didn't feel his lips hardly at all.
CrushedOrgans Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I don't like thin lips ditto...on anyone. maybe it was just a bit awkward and he held back a little and you weren't able to experience the impact of the whole lip? i don't know, it would definitely bother me though.
alphamale Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 i have nice kissable lips. you can see my new pic on my profile
Ross_K Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Wow, I imagined you to look totally different alphamale. Anyway, I don't think I'd mind thin lips too much on a girl, but imagining how kissing a guy with thin lips would come across to a girl it does seem like it'd be very unappealing, especially because of the fact that all you'd feel would be stubble.
whichwayisup Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Wow, I imagined you to look totally different alphamale. He's an aged Erik Estrada!
Author luvtoto Posted October 8, 2006 Author Posted October 8, 2006 Nice pic, alpha! Well, I am not gonna let this get in the way. Maybe, once I get to know him better, I can tell him to be more gentle. The stubble burn was painful.
Ross_K Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 He's an aged Erik Estrada! Lol, yeah, I guess I can see a little bit of a resemblence there.
johan Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I'd give him time to get used to kissing you. After you settle on your technique, then re-evaluate. How did you meet him?
pricillia Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 LUV, maybe if you kiss him more often the blood will rush to his lips (Puckers while typing)... and eventually stay there for your kissing pleasure.
pricillia Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I'd give him time to get used to kissing you. After you settle on your technique, then re-evaluate. How did you meet him? at a kissing booth...
Author luvtoto Posted October 8, 2006 Author Posted October 8, 2006 I'd give him time to get used to kissing you. After you settle on your technique, then re-evaluate. How did you meet him? I met him on match.com. I told him last night that I am not too worried about wether he is *into* me. I am more concerned about me being *into* him enough to date him. He looked surprised that I said that. I don't think he's used to a strong women like myself. I am done with spending wasted effort making someone like me or worrying about it. By the end of the night, he kissed me and then asked me where I've been all his life. He also knows I'm a little skittish with guys that come on too strong, so he told me that the ball is in my court and to call him next. I liked that!! I am thinking that he was just nervous last night and the kissing will improve with time. If it doesn't, then hopefully he will be gentler with me...or SHAVE BETTER!!
Art_Critic Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 he kissed me and then asked me where I've been all his life. .. these are things you say after you know someone but not before.. Getting a semi bad first kiss shouldn't be something that you should worry about.. He was most likely nervous and was trying too hard.. Wait for the second kiss before you make up your mind about his kissing abilities.. I personally try and give my first kiss so that on the drive home they can just barley still feel my lips.. Those are also the kind of first kisses I like to get.. but unfortunately I have only felt that once..and that was by the ex that brought me to LS
Author luvtoto Posted October 8, 2006 Author Posted October 8, 2006 .. these are things you say after you know someone but not before.. Well, normally I would be turned off by him saying what he did to me, but this time...I just felt flattered! He is picky and didn't seem desperate. I can tell by the way he takes care of himself. I mean, he is 34 yrs old and still single. YET...yet!...very happy with his life. The way he describes his family; mom, dad, sisters, friends, nieces was just very cute. I felt flattered that he thought so highly of me, too. However, normally guys like that..I would try soooo hard to make them like me. But, at the point I am in life, I just don't feel the need to do that anymore. I honestly am not concerned at all if he likes me. If he does, then great! Maybe this will work out. If not, I am still single and that's perfectly fine with me. There are positives to being single...trust me!
