your ex, who you stupidly keep in contact with, that is a total player and has been most of his life, met the "girl of his dreams" RIGHT AFTER breaking up with you and is now close to marriage. *sigh*

It stings...not super crazy painful hurt cos i've been expecting this, but still bites nonetheless.

Why do cheaters seem to find happy before we do? Sucks.

Oh and before anyone says it, yeah, i know, i could NC him (and i should)--i don't hear from him all that much anymore, but still...when the topic turns to that...ouch.

The only thing keeping me smiling is that the odds of him maintaining total committment to her for however many years they might be potentially married is close to nil--he's still cheating on her now, so i can't see it ending completely, no matter how hard he tries, i know he doesn't know what LOVE really means then...

Look at it this way: she might be the girl of his dreams, but he certainly is not the guy of hers.

People who cheat on you while planning your marriage are not exactly dream guys - they are a nightmare come true.

I think I can relate. It does hurt.

But ask yourself: would you like to be in her shoes? Not really.

You have been far luckier than her so far.

Seem is the key word.

Yeah, i know you're right--i just hate that he's getting away with it and it actually makes me mad that she's too stupid to see it...lol.

I've been dating a lot since the break up (about 18 months ago) and i am struggling very hard to find a decent guy, just very frustrating, but like someone posted in another thread, i can only hope that it means the most tremendous relationship for me lies ahead!
