shawn_68
There's a day that all of us dumpees KNOW will happen sooner or later. We dread it like the plague. Tonight it happened to me. I saw me ex girlfriend for the first time since the breakup, long ago. She's still the most beautiful woman that I've seen in a long time. Well at least to me she is. She didn't look at me, not even to acknowledge my presence. Man, what did I do to deserve THAT. But it's all ok. I know we'll never be together again. And I'm not about to call, email or send smoke signals. I'm not completely over this still, but I can live without her. And for now, that's enough. Man, why tonight? I'm still shaking. Sunny skies ahead. -S
Jane Doe
Shawn, are you sure she saw you?
Vanquish
Same **** happened to me after my ex dumped me. I saw her at a ball game and gave her an indifferent hi that she managed to just stare at me and walk by even after she tried and tried to make me board teh S.S. friend. I just look at it as a way of them being in denial of what a fine specimen she lost and can't come to grips with her childish ways to reply with a simple hi. ****ing no courtesy ex's. Author shawn_68
Shawn, are you sure she saw you? Yes, I'm sure. Mabe It was a shock and she didn't know what to say. Or maybe she was sending the message that I don't want you in my life in any capacity. Maybe both. Hard to accept, I know I wasn't perfect ... but at least I wasn't a self-absorbed, cheating jerk. In any case, I'll respect her desire to be left alone. Just like everybody else here, I'll continue to make the most of my life.
Jane Doe
I think that's a great idea. There's really nothing you can do at this point now anyway. Just look forward.
