Haunted house date!

Got invited to one of those 'Haunted House' thing-a-ma-bob's this weekend with a new guy I'm casually dating.

He asked me last night, haven't told him yes or no. I am scared.

Should I or shouldn't I?

What's it like in those places??

Go for it! Especially if it's with a guy you'd like to "cling to for protection." ;)

They're all different, so no clue exactly what it'd be like...

I'd like to hear some experiences...:).

It depends, most haunted houses are intended for children so they aren't actually scary scary, something might startle you by randomly dropping down/popping out at you but thats about it.

Thanks, Allina. This HH is for adults and older kids. Umm...can those monsters touch?? I don't want anyone touching me or grabbing my arse or whatever. Except for my date...and that's even iffy!! haha!

I love HH's. I went to a cornfield maze last year and they had people jumping out of the cornfield left and right. They won't grab you or anything like that. Have fun.

you can get just as much excitement for free driving on I-94, I-96 or I-75 during rush hour.

My biggest fear is to be held against my will by some freakin' stranger dressed up in a dracula costume. I've heard of people getting their butts grabbed before. I would turn around with mace spray. Hey!! That's an idea.

No, wait, they all will have masks on. .... Damn!!

See how my brain works!!

Thanks, Riddler!! I am still scared, though. :o

I don't remember the last time being able to actually drive on these roads during rush hour. I swear that they give drivers licenses to just about anyone now-a-days.

Your date will love the fact that you will be constantly grabbing on to his arm and stuff.

Spray their asses if they decide to grab you, but with a possible lawsuit and all, I will bet that they will resist.

if this "new guy" ends up being more scared than you then you may want to reconsider the relationship :lmao:

Good point, Alpha! I don't think that he's gonna be too scared. Last night, he told me that he grew up in a haunted house of his own. His stories scared the b-jesus out of me.
