IhavenoFREAKINclue Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Ok so I have an interview today.....Should i say something about how me and my boss hate eachother and i sit here in silence in fear of being yelled at for opening mouth. That sounds kind bad right..Like its my fault....(she's just a c*nt) When he meets me he'll see that I'm a bubbly person who isn't mean blah blah Any Interview Tips?
tanbark813 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 The general rule is to not say anything bad about your previous employer. If anything just say your working styles clashed.

Don't bring up anything about your boss. If you were fired or quit because of her and are asked why just say that you are interested in new opportunities. Never bad mouth any of your past bosses.

tanbark813 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 ohhh Good one...What if he asks how we clashed? You could say that you like to be able to set your own schedule for when things get done and not be micro-managed. That's a typical one. Or you could say that you're most productive when you feel your manager respects and listens to your opinions. Just make sure whatever you say for yourself is true. And try not to say something that implies you're difficult to work with.
