bluechocolate Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 A friend of mine recently went on a speed dating evening, it was a wine tasting-speed dating event! My first thought was - all that spitting?! He enjoyed himself but didn't come away with a date, a few numbers, but no date. I think practically everyone lied about their age group & that some people were 'flown in' at the last moment to bulk up numbers. Give a try. Why not? Nothing to lose, is there?
Ariadne Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Hey Divine, I only saw speed dating on a TV show (Love is in the Heir) where this girl (who was clever and rich and pretty) was looking for dates... Well, needless to say that the guys there were pretty much on the loser side. Kind of dumb, ugly, had nothing to talk about, etc. She didn't like any of them and got mad at the agent for the big idea. Not sure if all of the speed dating places are the same, but I wouldn't mind to try it though, Ariadne
