Guest Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 OK, so heres the story. I'm a senior in high school. I've known this girl (at least by name) for a long time (like since 1st grade). We went to the same mid-high school, when we separated into different cliques. Flash forward to senior year. I've started talking to her more, and she seems really amazing. Usually, we are both pretty busy at school, but we talk a lot over Instant Messaging, and we really hit it off. We share a lot of things in common, and it's really awesome to talk to her. One some rare ocassions, we get like 5 or 10 minutes together, and it's really amainzing talking to her. I would like to ask her out, but the problem I have is that I don't get a lot of opportunities to talk to her during school. We both take a lot of classes, and the few free periods we have don't coincide with each other. And in the few instances that I do get a free period with her, she is usually "protected" by her group of friends. BY protected, I don't mean that they are exclusively targetting me, but that they are very tight, and do not really let anyone in their group. So I'm not exactly sure on how to do this. I've had a great time talking to her, and it's really awesome, since I had kinda lost a connection with her for a lot of years, but now I want to try and see how far I can make this go. Is there really any good way to ask her out, or should I just be patient and wait for one of the rare moments that she's alone at school? Or should I just give up?
Kyo Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 i'm probobay the last person to give any advise but, i say go for it cuz come on u known her from 1st grade. i mean u can risk your current relationship and changed it to something better. anway, it's your decision in the end. i am a senior too, and if we think about it we got nothing to lose. i mean we probaby won't meet the people in high school again. i always think to myself "Life's a gamble" "i got nothing to lose" "life is short" also my best advise is to go at it with animal instinct..go with the flow and don't think to much about it. also it cost $20+ to take her to a movie if u pay for both.
