I've heard that people are often attracted to those who have different physical traits than their own - brunettes to blondes, blue eyes to brown eyes. I started to say that's not true, but come to think of it, most men I've dated and most men who I attract have blue eyes and blonde or light brown hair (I have dark brown hair and hazel eyes). I've dated brunettes, but the attraction wasn't there, not at the level it was with my blonde partners (don't know if it's a coincidence, maybe?). I'm also 5'2 and often date tall men - wondering if the tall men liking short women belief also has some truth to it. I know these things don't apply to everyone, but I wonder, in general, if the opposite attracts theory works? I guess I don't pay enough attention to other couples to know, but in my case, it definitely works.
