YoungNY Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I've been dating a guy for 5 weeks now and during sex yesterday he said something twice that sounded like I love you. He has a very thick German accent and sometimes that makes it hard to understand him. He hasn't said anything about it since. Though he says "I hope you know, I like you very much" or "You can't imagine how much I like you." I think he might have said I love you, but because I didn't say anything back, he thinks I don't feel the same way. Yet, I don't want to tell him I love him, in case he really didn't say it. What should I do?
bluechocolate Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Wait until he says it in a setting other than the passionate throws of sex (you might have to wait a lot longer than 5 weeks). Though he says "I hope you know, I like you very much" or "You can't imagine how much I like you." In the meantime, that sounds pretty good so far, don't you think?
Sally00 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Then just say I like you back, if you mean it. People tend to just throw words around when having sex.
pricillia Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I agree with Blue Chocolate, He said that during sex, it could mean I love F***ing you, or he could have meant it. Either way, I would wait for him to say it with clothes on...
Guest Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 yeah if you really feel that you ove him then you could say it first but then like you said he might not be ready for it. Next time he tells you how he feels tell him you feel the same say and give him a kiss.
