BitterSweet4 Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 In a previous post i mentioned how me and my boyfriend got caught having sex by my parents and now we cant hang out. He told his dad who was pretty okay with it and now all he has to do is talk to his mom because according to my parents in order for us to move forward my parents want to have a discussion with his parents, but we can't untill he tells his mom. He is afraid that his mom will just ground him and never let him see me again, which i think won't happen or maybe only for a litlle while. I keep telling him how we can make this work its just going to take time and hope, but he once brought up that he kind of wishes that he could just take the easy way out so he doesn't hurt his mom (Breaking up) but i don't think he realizes that, that would't just hurt me it would kill me. We have been together for 11 months and i feel like i could be with him for many more month too come. He hates thinking about the future becuase anything could change and while i beleive that as well, i stil think he should give me more of a positive outlook on things like i give to him. I tell him that i want to get through this and i know we can make it because we are strong but he is so stressed out he can't think about anything. I am constantly finding ways to let him know i care but he doesn't do anything in return. Maybe i try to hard? i know its tough how can i help him through this? I do't want him to feel like the only way he can get out of this is by breaking up. Yeah that would be easy but thats not always the best way to go..right?
magichands Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I am constantly finding ways to let him know i care but he doesn't do anything in return. I think that all you can do is keep doing what you're doing. Be patient. Well...until your patience runs out. But you seem like a strong one.
