About three weeks ago I noticed a guy at the health club I go to. I've been 'checking him out' each time I've seen him there since. This past weekend as I was walking on the treadmill he walked past me and as he was getting closer we made eye contact. I smiled at him and he smiled back. We were both at the health club again the next day. I can't say for sure that he saw me there then. In any case, there was no acknowledgement. I am single. For all I know he may be married and have a family. But then again he may also be single. I don't want to have regrets and be wondering 'what if'. So my questions is, what is the next step? The next time I see him there, do I say something to him? If so, what? Wait for him to approach me? Just smile again? I appreciate any and all suggestions!

I think it's okay to start up a conversation about some small talk. Be creative and keep it light. GO FOR IT. You make the first move----he makes the second. That is fair!

I would throw the ball in his field to keep the "what if" going. Conversation is the key. I wouldnt try to hard. Just be you and let him come after you.

Or go to keywords "pick up lines"
