Marielle Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 Hi to all...here's my update (my story is too long, but nothing soooo different from the rest of you) I am fed up, and decided to do therapy after I burn out at work (all related to MM affair), the therapist suggested group therapy, for ppl with light deppression and anxiety, where the common denominator is having a low self esteem, obsesive thoughts (in my case MM) and apparently it works well. WHat do you think? Did anyone go through this? Is it a step forward to my healing? I m not strong enough to break up with him, we love each other too much, but this story is KILLING me. I want to regain my happiness and well being, also my pride and integrity. Any thoughts will be much apreciated
bunset Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 M, I highly recommend therapy for anyone in 'our boat'. The first thing I'm working on is why I so very much want the fairy tale that the A represents. At the very least... use this situation to discover things that you haven't seen before. I know it's possible to find peace, even in this situation!
Jane Doe Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I think it's a great idea. It's always theraputic to be around people who understand. I think you should give it a try, go for several sessions and see how you like it.
