to write or not to write - he has said he wants to be 'just friends,'

Ok... so the guy I've been sort of seeing (not quite 'fwb', not quite 'just friends' either) is leaving the country..... He knows that i want to be more in his life and he keeps saying that our paths will cross in the future.

 

Basically I think we'd be great together because

- we enjoy each others company

- are attracted to each other like crazy

- we have loads of fun together

- he misses me and gets dissapointed when I can't be somewhere and

- he is always excited to see me...

 

but through all the time we've been seeing each other (on and off for a couple months) he has said he wants to be 'just friends,' 'doesn't want to lead me on' and 'doesn't think it will work long-term.' *sigh* I feel like he's denied our relationship and his feelings for me by not realising the above.

 

So now I have an opportunity to write to him and tell him how I feel (those above 5 points) - do you think I should... or do I just let it go, not write anything and move on with my life?

 

I'm at a cross-roads as to what will be achieved by writing

a) I'll feel better

b) is it going to change anything - probably not so is there any point (which brings me back to point a!).
