Quinch Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Say you had someone who was 'just a friend' because you were already in a relationship with someone else. If that relationship ended, would it be possible for feelings towards that person to change or would they always be 'just a friend'?
blind_otter Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Anything is possible. But the transition would necessitate both parties being on the same page, which can never happen without open communication.
superconductor Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Usually - well, in my experience anyway - the "just a friend" prison is a lifelong sentence. Maybe, somewhere on a distant galaxy, it can evolve into something deeper, but I've never seen it.
Sand&Water Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Quinch, If that relationship ended, would it be possible for feelings towards that person to change? Yes. It is possible. But, you have to make sure such feelings are authentic in nature. Would they always be 'just a friend'? ~8/10, yes. It is always about timing, and perception.
