SweetRB Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 i work at a place and i get along with everyone. This guy in the warehouse has smacked my ass 2 or 3 times. I have told him already please dont do that and I'm afraid hes going to do it again. Next time I swore to myself I will tell someone in higher authority if he does it again. Hes a cool person, but his joking can get out of hand and irratates me. Now when ever Im around him I try to face the opposite way, i shouldnt have feel uncomfortable when I am talking to him right?
stoopid_guy Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Right. If he does it again (especially after you've asked him not to) talk to your manager. If that doesn't work, talk to his manager. There's absolutely no reason for anyone to touch you in any way against your will.
Yoohoo Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Don't make excuses to justify his bad behavior...tell the manager what's going on, and if it doesn't stop, file a police report.
luvstarved Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I would give him fair warning: "I have asked you nicely to stop that and you have refused to comply. If it does not stop IMMEDIATELY I will file a complaint." And stick to it.
magda Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 luvstarved = right. Don't tattle on him unless he knows that you're going to. It'll look bad on you and make things awkward if you don't make him fully aware of what actions you will take.
