Ok, my boyfriend and I (he's 45, I'm 38) are planning on making an informal introduction to my children. My kids are 10 and 6. We are entering a stage in our relationship where we would like to see each other more than once or twice a week for the few hours we have now so I feel it is important to make his face known to my kids and slowly start letting him be seen by them, possibly allowing him to start a friendship with them.

He and I are becoming very close and we both view each other as a serious interest.

What have you with children done over time to keep introductions and activities light? I don't want a heavy, "Kids, this is so and so...he's my new boyfriend...(maybe he'll be here a year or two from now or not)." For a first meeting I was thinking of having him pick me up at a park by the house to play a game of kickball before our date. The sitter can take them home from there.

Anyone have some brilliant ideas????:D
