blue16 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Anyways lately I have been hanging out with this girl from my part-time job. We've worked with each other for over a year...but only since the start of the summer we have been getting together outside of work. She was decent looking...but I really never even thought about anything more than just casual friends w/ her. First it started off as a group thing (with another co-worker), then lately it has been just us two going out for coffee once or twice a week for a few hours each time. But through spending time with her, she is growing on me. She changed her hairstyle, and she looks even better than before. We have good chemistry cuz we can talk about basically anything for hours. The good news is that for the most part, she is the one initating these get togethers. At work, she always asks when my break is presumably hoping we have the same break. And she's the one always asking to hang out etc. The bad news is that other than wanting to hang out/spend time together, I don't see any signals (mind you I am really bad at reading things, but I digress). She uses phrases like us being "friends" or "friendship" etc... I'm not sure what to do at this point. Maybe if we're drunk at party I could test the waters a little bit...and if goes bad just say I drank too much? lol. I'm not sure if I want a relationship with her, but I also don't want to be her platonic friend either. To add to this, we work together a couple times a week, and she's one of my favourite people there. It's nice to have someone you care about working at the same job as u to make the day go by faster. I really like hanging out with her...but at the same time I don't want to be 'that guy' who spends all this time with a girl secretly hoping she'll want to be more than friends. Or maybe I already am?
