During my marriage, I did use porn frequently and this became an issue with my Ex, but I think eventually came to accept it. I was the one who eventually wanted the divorce. I married my Ex-wife because she was my best friend, and I thought a soulmate. I was never really attracted to her, although I never told her this. I had one other GF that I was very attracted to, and during that relationship, I felt no need to watch porn. I have met a beautiful woman during the past year, and we have made plans to be married in the next year. I find her very attractive, and I really enjoy making love with her (unlike my ex-wife). Our relationship is currently very much long distance, and we cannot be physically together for approximately 6 months. During the time that she is not with me, I continue to use porn, and have quite an extensive collection. As the time approaches, I plan (and have begun) to discard my porn collection, because I believe she can satisfy my sexual desires. My questions are the following. Is it realistic to believe that after many many years of using hard core porn to get off, I can be satisfied with one woman? I love her, and am attracted to her to the extent that this is my plan, but I wonder if other men have found this to be doable. I honestly do not know how she would react if she knew about my use of porn. She has asked me how I satisfy myself while she is away, and I told her that I take care of myself, but told her when she asked for further details that it was personal and embarassing and she accepted that. I feel that how I took care of my sexual drive prior to our being together is irrelevent just as long as I treat her right after we are together.
megnog Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 if you are going to marry this woman, she should know about your sexual tendencies. its better to look at porn and take care of yourself that way, than to cheat on her. did she really expect you to not jerk off during those 6 months? i'm confused i think. you don't have to go cold turkey on the porn!!!
