Buckyn Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Here is the low down. I have been friends with this girl for about four years now. for the first two of those years she had a boyfriend who by the way was a complete donkey except alternitive word. I have liked her for the last two years now. this year she tells me she likes me. So what any guy would do i asked her out. She wanted to be friends because of the old boyfriend and the way he recked their relationship. I understood exactly so i didn't bother her about it. less than a month ago she texts me saying she regreted telling me she wanted to be friends. That hurt just because we could have been dating i told her that. she sent me an email saying i didn't understand what she was trying to tell me. but she wanted to be with me. Of course i didn't understand because girls like to try and tell guys things inderectly like we can read their mind. so we started talking about how we felt about this and i am going to college right now as she is to. about 50 miles from where i live. but i come home every weekend so i could see her every week. Now we decided that right now would be a good time not to date but stay friends and wait for the right time to start dating. Well she flirts with me almost everytime we are around each other. I can not stop thinking about her or what is going on. If anyone could help that would be good. but sorry this was so long
tikigods Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Sounds to me that she likes knowing that she always has you waiting around for her, and she is going to use that little ego boost anychance she gets. I give it a 25% chance that there is ever a right time for you guys
Baybee9404 Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 She is just playing around with you to see if you will jump at her call to make her feel better about herself. If i were you i'd tell her your friendship is more valuable to you, you want to keep it that way and you have a girlfriend already(even if you dont) the games will be done then. When she calls you try not to answer the phone and wait a day to call her back as a friend, dont call right away. If you can stay her friend cool but if your feelings are to strong for her dont be her friend because you will be the only one hurt by it not her you. Please dont date this girl or even consider it,move on and find a girl that wont games with you. Sorry about what you are going through and Good luck.

I give it a 25% chance that there is ever a right time for you guys that's kind of what I was thinking. Some girls like attention and flirtations. So she is getting what she wants from you without the commitment of a relationship. I tend to agree with tikigods, I don't think the timing is ever going to be right for the two of you.

If you dont which I recomend....tell her so. Less words and analysing and more action.
