Hi!

Well - there's a new guy I'm curious about. We have some lectures together, we talk before & after lecture, we borrow notes from each other, etc. We've exchanged emails (his initiative)... (we both live off campus, so we also ride the train home together once in a while - by accident, just bumping into each other)

I think he's quite cute, nice, funny, etc... He seems to enjoy my company - like he'll walk with me for 5-10 mins after our lecture even though he has to go in the opposite direction from mine ...

Sound good, right?

Well - i know i should play it cool (Tony - your school :))

but also, im not sure how to act - should i just keep doing what i'm doing now and leave all further initiative in his hands?

I ask because it's very easy to hang out with him - like I could easily suggest to study together and i know he'd agree... should i do that or just wait? i dunna if he has a gf or anything b/c we don't have any common friends... Hey, i dont even know if i like him - i just would like to get to know him a bit better...

Any comments or suggestions? :) Thanks!

Hi yes.

If i were you, i wouldn't take any initiative so far ... simply continue chatting with him and welcome his suggestions if he makes them ... (if he still seems cool by then)

good luck.

WRONG...first, you need to see if he has a girlfriend...and you need to be a little agressive here so he doesn't just see you as a friend. Get something going here and start laying the groundwork for more than just a friendship.

Never wait too long for anything. If he doesn't make a move in a reasonable amount of time...MAKE A MOVE YOURSELF.

Invite him to an event at school, to lunch, or something. Get to the bottom of where his head's at where you're concerned.

by being agressive? by "reasonable" time? a month or two (thats what i think)?

lets say we go to some library to work on an assignemnt together...... what's agressive? simply flirty? or? i can fairly easily end up having lunch with him, but i'm not sure how to make it seem a not-just-friends thing, and whether i should even do that (as opposed to him)...

i'll try to see if he has a gf, of course.... so far he hasn't mentioned anyone...

Thanks for your reply btw :)

Agressive means doing a little bit more than you are doing now. If you don't, as a woman, know how to proceed towards getting a man interested...talk to your girlfriends who are good at it and get some pointers.

Attracting men is something women should be very intuitive about. It's a biological thing, you know. It should be second nature to you.
