DakingofInsecurity Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I can't tell if my girl friend is cheating on me or not...Here is how it begins.. -She broke up wit her man b/c he was a screwup and what not -She went out with me but it wasnt suppose to go as long as it did, becasue she was going to college in a few months..it was suppose to be a short-term thing -Now, one day I looked @ her myspace page, she had a cleavage and noticed a guy left a comment like, I don't want you to show whats mine on it. The comment could have gone either way, but I asked both of them and they had different stories. My girl said that he was a friend of a friend but he's like I'm looking at for her. I was like how is he protecting you when you say hes a casual friend @ best and she said she was creped out. With little time till she left I decided to drop the issue all together.. -Then to celebrate her last day before she left we threw a big hotel party. We all had a few shots and what not and she ended up kissing another girl without my permission. I flipped and she cried a lot...I let that go on the thought that she probably did it because she thought I would find it sexy. Although when I asked her why she did it, she didn’t know.. -The next day, some dude called her phone. But the thing is, she was using her old phone because her last phone got messed up (dropped it into water)...She told the dude that they hadn’t talked in a while and something along of the lines of why are you calling my old phone when I’ve had a new 1 for a while, and eventually gives him the new number of her cell and says I'm with my boyfriend bye. I'm not fully convinced that just because she says I’m with my boyfriend that I should give her a pass, and I do felt she "over-acted" during the phone convo.. -Then as she goes to college today and what not. Now, her phone was legitimately damaged, I seen it myself. But she calls me from the drenched phone and I’m like I thought you gave it in or whatever (she told me something along those lines I think) and she’s like I got it from my pops so I can text you from the new phone and called from the old one, apparently because he complained bout to much texting so she thought it would be better if she used a another phone, despite the fact its still under his pay.. Its those types of inconsistency's that drive me nuts. She does have a couple of things that do go for her, in that she's never really asking me if I'm playing her, she’s not overly self-assured, but confident im not doing anything. That type of confidence is a reflection of herself. And also if she was playing me, she would have broken up before college since there are going to be a lot of dudes there and there isn’t a real point in keeping me around if I'm suspicious and angry all the time.. The sex drive portion has been always there. Except maybe for the very last day, but I figure you can't possible want to have sex every day.. I'm pretty visible in her myspace, away messages but yet again I don't feel like thats the end all be all. I've been in the situation that the girl will mess around with you as long as your comfortable knowing that shes with another guy... So, I'm iffy bout whether to trust her or not, I've brought it up with her and stuff and feel better afterwards, but those little inconsistencies drive me nuts…I feel sexually as long as mentally I do satisfy her. They say if you do things right at home she won’t look elsewhere, perhaps true. I’m just an untrusting person by nature.. Thoughts, comments?
