Honestly, the best advice I could give you would be to just ask her out. Too many boys in high school avoided asking me out because they didn't think they had a chance with me, but I had no idea they even liked me until high school was over. Most girls will still be willing to be friends with you if they're not interested, so it's not a loss if it doesn't work out.

I guess "lines" can be used but you shouldn't prepare them. Each girl is different and will react differently. If you know she has no interest in you then just offer a friendly hi and be on your way. Don't go all dreamy about her. Maybe if your not sure if she knows you or unsure how she feels. A hi and a smile and be on your way. This is not going to happen overnight. Just after a few times approch her when she is alone. Greet her and say something like hey I have seen you around, do you want to walk home together or a walk after school, something like that. Maybe meet a later time somewhere neutral where other people would be around. Grab a soda, movie or what ever.

 

The thing to remember you will have to pay attention to what she says and how she reacts. Find out what she likes and tell her about you. See if there is similar intrests and you will know where you stand. If she does not want to be with you, you will know. Really quick. Then you move onto the next one.
