honeybunch2k5 Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 You're a great girl, but... I really like you, but... Is anyone else tired of hearing this? I get a little tired of guys saying how much they like me, and then they break up with me. It's always, "You're a great girl and I really like you, but let's not see each other anymore. It's not you, it's me." This really gets aggravating. After hearing that a few times, I start to believe it is me. I mean, the only common denominator is me. This seems to be my reward for not arguing, whining, or nagging. Sometimes I wonder if guys like that stuff:confused: Is anyone else tired of hearing that?
norajane Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 The other common denominator is that YOU are choosing the men you go out with. Perhaps you continue to choose men who aren't right for you. Maybe you could give some thought to what qualities you are attracted to and whether the guys you are dating really have those qualities, or whether the qualities you are attracted to aren't compatible with who you really are.
oss91 Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 This seems to be my reward for not arguing, whining, or nagging. Sometimes I wonder if guys like that stuff this is just my opinon, but please don't turn into a bitch. you might think it's extremely attractive. but to anyone who is worth your time, it truly isn't. it might be at first, but that grows old very quickly. stay a good person. don't sweat it. it's better to be gently let go then to have someone kick you to the curb while being "honest". honesty is important but at the wrong moment can really screw people up for a long time. accept it and move on. you can still be friends.
