Hey, just needed to vent and hear from others.

I'm a 36 year old man, that previously went 11 years between relationships ( and I mean no dating in that time) This past February I met a wonderful lady that I wanted to get to know and such. We worked in the same office and things were great for 4 months, then I moved to another state and after she lost her job she moved with me from Utah to Wyoming in June. We found a nice house to rent and both found jobs and I'm currently working 2 jobs and going to school part time. The past 2 months of adjustment have been very hard and it seems we always argue about trivial stuff. It's been especially hard on her 2 daughters and they seem to want to get in our way. I was told that I'd have to accept the kids or NO her. So I've been trying my best and then some. Recently she went on a trip with her kids and they went to see the EX (their father). I've been told that he wants to get back together with her and she is considering it. She tells me I'll be better off, but I truly care about her and wanted to settle down with her and make things work. I know what you all will say---time to part waves etc.....but it doesn't make it any easier. Why is it I gave her all I could and it was never good enough and now she's considering getting back with the EX for the sake of the girls. Isn't this dangerous??? I don't know if I should continue to tell her how I feel or if I should move on. Afterall we both signed the lease and its a yearly lease and we've only been here 2 months. There's talk the EX might move here, should I let them take over the house or move out myself? I truly care about her and think she's making a horrible mistake and even she states she thinks she is to. Any advice is greatly appreciated, in this time of confusion and despair.

Thanks

It's possible that her actions are driven more by a desire to have a father figure for her girls than by her feelings for you. Some of the trivial arguments could have stemmed from resentment that you're not around enough for her and her daughters (as I'm guessing two jobs and part-time school takes up a good deal of your time).
