So here's the deal: I hardly slept a wink last night because I was coughing my head off. Awoke way too early this morning and have a fine set of Samsonite luggage underneath my eyes.

In just over two hours, I have to do a presentation for a local organization, and I feel like absolute crapola.

I've already decided to suck it up and just make the presentation, but I'm curious what others think.

Do you think I should go and:

  1. Spread disease, death and general nastiness;
  2. Put my credibility, such as it is, in danger because my brain hurts; and,
  3. Screw up the presentation so badly that people won't be able to wait to get out of there?

or

  1.
  2. Just do it and damn the consequences;

  3. Before I start, tell the collected victims - er, participants - that I'm not at 100% today; and,

  4. Get it over with as quickly as possible?

Thankfully, I survived and the whole episode seemed to go pretty well.

The great thing about being a training facilitator is that the group does most of the work. All I had to do was basically stand there and let them do their thing.

And cough. :sick:

And cough. :sick:

Strangely, no one wanted to shake my hand after the session was over.
