tomorrow's date with my girlfriend

I broke no contact with my girlfriend this morning. This morning was the first time in 9 days that I have initiated contact with her. She has initiated contact with me 5 times in those 9 days and I answered the phone each time.

 

Three out of five of those times I ended the conversation first. I'm proud of myself for doing NC for 9 days. That is no contact initiated from my side. I'm teaching myself delayed gratification. I'm disciplining myself not to call her on every whim. The only reason I broke NC was because I wanted to confirm our dating plans for tomorrow.

 

I'm the type of guy who is naturally clingy and craves alot of female attention but for the last 9 months or so I have re-programmed my mind to work against those clingy impulses. She's the kind of woman who likes her space. On average I see her once every 8-10 days.

 

Tomorrow I'm taking her out for lunch. I'm suppose to meet her at high noon. We're going out for chinese and then maybe some ice cream afterwards. I'll probably leave her house around 9pm to come home and get back on LS.

 

I'm not going to initiate any sexual contact or affection. If she initiates sexual contact I'll tell her I'm not in the mood or I'll at least pleasure her with my fingers but I won't allow her to touch me down there. If she initiates a hug or a kiss or cuddling I'll reciprocate.

I didn't say she initiated NC. I said she initiated CONTACT 5 times in those last 9 days. Yes I have done NC. The standard version of no contact means none initiated from my side but if the other person calls it's up to me to answer or not. Responding to contact is NOT a break of NC. Initiating contact is a break of NC.

Ok, first off, you don't get to change the definition of NC after making 5 posts here. No contact means you are not in touch with the person via phone, e-mail, fax, telekenesis, or any other form of communication, regardless of who initiates.

 

Secondly, NC is usually reserved for people who have already broken up. I understand you're trying to be less clingy with this girl, but you still come off as a bit creepy and stalker-ish. Instead of counting the days and keeping a calander of who calls who, and playing games, why don't you get some hobbies of your own and stop obsessing over this girl?
