Guest Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Okay really need some help with this one..... So this guy Cal and I flirted alot in college while we attended it together 3 years ago. I was dating a guy then so things never really took off, but there were sure sparks there. I graduated school and moved back home....3 hours away from Cal. Again i was in the same relationship with another guy, but Cal still made the time to call me and keep in touch out of the 2 years after college where we never saw eachother. We'll i recently broke up with the prev. guy i was in the relationship with all this time. Cal and i started talking alot met up in pittsburgh and got close again. Just last week he had me come and meet his family (huge deal) He is Italian and very close to his fam. Things went well and i got along with them all very well. Cal was tellin me how serious he was about me and how this was a big step meeting the fam. I stayed over night then the next day went to go home. He said good bye to me by saying "Cya later buddy". When i realized he called me buddy i was appalled thinking we made some major head way i just met the family. So when he leaned in to give me a kiss and a hug i turned my head and he kissed my cheek instead of my lips like he was aiming for. So now its been a week and i only talked to him briefly for like 4 mins. since i was at his house. I dont get him at all. Why would a guy have you meet the family then back off?? It seems like he is into me just not sure what he wants. During the trip i told him i was into him and i loved being with him and i cared alot about him...I wanted to tell him i liked him without being too emotional since guys can be turned off by that. He said he was into me too and cared about me and was happy i met his family....then he goes and starts on how he is affraid of commitment. What would that mean if he wanted me to meet his family and show me how serious he is about me....but then explain to me he is affraid of commitment. I know this is long. HELP PLEASE!!
My_Other_I Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 I think that's just one of the tons of excuses guys use when they are not sure that you are what they want. He is not into you as much as you'd like him to be. Just my opinion.
