surebutafraid Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Here's a situation. I met a girl (who was a client contact) while on an overseas project which I have since completed and returned home. We started talking and realised that we were actually well matched. She is closest to my ideal girl that I have ever met. I was attracted and the body language suggested she was too. Besides the potential conflict of interests and long distance issues, there is two others. We were both attached but to different people then. I have since split up with my girlfriend partly because of the new girl. The other minor issue is race I am not sure how my parents may take that. So there are many difficulties; distance, potential conflicts of interest, previous relationships and race. What do you people think? Worthwhile to pursue?
Tony T Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 It doesn't seem the two of you are so well matched as you may think. There are too many issues to overcome here. There are simply way too many ladies you could meet with lots in common with you and few if any major hurdles to jump over. Relationships are rather difficult anyway without leaving the starting gate with both hands tied behind your back. If you came here for encouragement, I sincerely apologize.
