pseudofemme Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Do you ever meet someone who turns you on so much, just standing next to them makes you practically orgasm? And if you accidentally (or not accidentally ) brush against them, you literally feel the electricity? I've met a handful of people who affect me in this way. Sometimes even strangers. I just get incredibly aroused in their presence. My question is, is it possible for only one person to feel the chemistry, and the other person to feel nothing? Like while one person is all hot and bothered, the other is thinking about what to get for lunch...? And I don't mean attraction like "Oh, that person's hot." I mean like you actually have to RESTRAIN yourself from ripping off their clothes right then and there. In my experience the chemistry has always been mutual. But I'm wondering if it's possible for it not to be.
Adunaphel Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 It happened to me on a few occasions. (I miss them ) In all those cases I was the only one who felt the chemistry, in one of these cases the guy was gay. So I guess you can say that the chemistry is not necessarily mutual.
stoopid_guy Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 In my experience the chemistry has always been mutual. But I'm wondering if it's possible for it not to be. Absolutely possible. I don't feel that near-uncontrollable "spark" often, but the last time was standing behind a lady waiting to get off an airplane. She probably barely realized I was there. (And if she'd know what I was thinking, she'd have probably slapped me anyway. )

Ross_K Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Wow, is this normal? I've never been aroused when stood next to a woman. Maybe my anxiety causes this. And maybe not being aroused stops me naturally showing interest in a woman.
Yamaha Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Absolutely. Chemistry can be one-sided and it is a real downer when that is the case.
