lovestrucksweetie Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 My boyfriend and I have been dating for just about 8 months and we recently moved in together.....and we got a dog! Anyways, for the last month or so he's been acting like he's king of the world and everything has to be done his way or he thinks I am mad at him if it's not. He says rude little comments to me like this morning he was slamming all the drawers and I was like " What the hell are you looking for?" cuz I was starting to get annoyed and he says " Just nevermind you don't have to work today, you can sleep all day what's it matter to you?" In a very rude tone of voice. He never kissed me goodnight or said I love you this mornin and normally every morning we kiss say goodbye and says I love you.......... I feel like something is up...he swore he would never cheat on me and he told me he'd quit lookin at porn becasue he doesn't need it but I want to know why he's acting all jerkish......it's really starting to drive me insane. Oh and this past weekend he went to a football game and one of his friends was having a party after......I had text messaged him and I said nobody's answering their phones and so I didn't have a ride. And I tried calling him a bunch of times yet he never answered. Well I decided he might have made it to the party so I called one of his buddies to see if he was there so that made he could find a ride for me. He was there and sure enough he was. I asked him if he got any of my text's or if he seen that I had poned earlier and he said his phone got cut off(cuz he cut it off himself). Well I looked in his phone and he got all my messages and he missed my phone call and he said he never ignores phone calls, well why was mine ignored and his chick friends was answered? I just don't know how to handle it. It's so confusing, I feel like he's getting more distant and it's a big huge deal if I ask him to use his truck even though I put gas in the thing and he never wants to pay for me for anything........aren't I supposed to be able to somewhat depend on him.....I don't mean for everything but alot of things beccasue i feel like i can't! Can I get some opinions please!!

I think you should be able to count on him and he shouldn't think differently of you when you ask for a favor and you shouldn't feel like you're bothering him or inconveniencing him by any means, after all, you're his girlfriend! It could also be that he's used to you and it's like no matter what he says or how he treats you, he knows you'll be there at the end of the day. Next time he gives you a rude remark, let him know it's not okay to talk to you like that. Give a guy an inch and he'll take a mile! Guys can be such buttheads!
