TheSilentType Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 So for all the unattached people out there, what's your reason for being single? A. Haven't met someone who interests me/standards are too high B. Too shy to ask someone out/not confident about myself/wait for others to make the first move C. Have been looking, but the other person was not interested/unavailable D. More important things to take care of than being involved in a relationship/too busy to date E. I love being single! Who needs a man/woman??!! F. Don't have many opportunities to meet other single people G. Just got dumped/still in love with ex H. Too scarred/embittered by last relationship/trust issues I. I'm a fugly mofo...hand me a paper bag (Add your own reasons if not included in my awesome nearly comprehensive list) For me, it is I What about you guys?
Pink Amulet Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I!??! I hope you are not serious?! I doubt that is the case for even the most extreme cases! For every Jack there's a Jill as they say! E. I love being single! Who needs a man??!!for me.
Adunaphel Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I'm somewhere between A, C, D, F and H. And paper bags are too darn expensive.
Author TheSilentType Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 I!??! I hope you are not serious?! I doubt that is the case for even the most extreme cases! For every Jack there's a Jill as they say! I was just being silly But seriously, where the heck is my Jill? Up the hill?
lindya Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Why single? I'm not a particularly settled person..either in my professional life or my personal one. I like to move around a lot...trying out new places and new things - and a relationship would make it difficult to do that. I love the idea of love, and I enjoy talking to other people about their relationships...but personally I really enjoy having my own space to read, write, play music and just generally chill. I'm probably completely strange, but I can live with that.
Pink Amulet Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Those who choose E don't want to admit to I. I don't think so.
Author TheSilentType Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 Those who choose E don't want to admit to I. My friend, you may have a point here... Oh wow, Pinky said E...I guess she's in denial or something....everyone knows she's fugly and only looks good with airbrushing
Pink Amulet Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Hahaha, hey! Screw you *puts more make up on*
danyol Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Hey thesilenttype, post your picture and I'll tell you if you need a bag. I love judging people, it's my favorite past time.
Author TheSilentType Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 Hey thesilenttype, post your picture and I'll tell you if you need a bag. I love judging people, it's my favorite past time. Hey that is my picture in the avatar. People think that I'm also a person, but I'm actually a pretty smart dog. That's why I like the Internet....no one knows the difference
magichands Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 You need me to justify myself? I reserve the right to ignore your dot points. I did meet someone that left me breathless. And, believe it or not, they gave me the distinct impression that they felt the same. I guess we never got to the "love is a decision" part. I was immature, to say the least. And now I'm in the Middle of Nowhere - and enlightenment is an all-consuming passion. You can go away now. Unless you want to listen to me Om? We can do it in stereo - together.
dgiirl Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 A, I havent met anyone who interests me enough to NOT do B, and since I'm just getting out of G and a 10 year relationship, I'm doing E and loving it I probably will do a lot of H in the future, and maybe I'm doing some of I, but E the top of everything
RecordProducer Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Those who choose E don't want to admit to I.This is especially valid for Pink Amulet: E. I love being single! Who needs a man??!!for me. For me it's: J. My options are really limited to one person... being that I'm married!
magichands Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 J. My options are really limited to one person... being that I'm married! Ohhh RP... how romantic.:love: I suggest you keep that one to yourself.
RecordProducer Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Ohhh RP... how romantic.:love: I suggest you keep that one to yourself. Magichands, we're all single. It's just that some of us are also married.
magichands Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Magichands, we're all single. It's just that some of us are also married. Married? I don't want your married. If I play RP's vinyl, aren't I hearing "limited to one person"? Oh! I just got the joke!!!! Sorry about that.
amaysngrace Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 What about k? K: Because I speak to a variety of quality people daily on LS, most in real life don't seem as compelling as the 100 different minds I interact with on a daily basis. And therefore, are dull by comparison.

magichands Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 My reasons are listed above... Since when did the alphamale need a reason??!! Reasons, even. I'm shocked.
johan Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I attribute my singleness to shyness and anti-social tendencies.
