the_alchemyst Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 The ocean, full of water so infite, is nothing compared the tears that are drowning me within. I yearn for your return more than I yearn for my next breath. I yearn to see your sight, feel your touch, smell your scent--I yearn to hear those sweet words drip from your lips like and overflow of honey from the hive. Oh, Killer Queen Bee, won't you share some honey with me? Oh, Killer Queen Bee, bring the mirror and shed some honey on me. Wishing to see only what you want to see, you stare into the black mirror, gazing deep into your made-up psyche; you see so much from the nothingness that is there. Empty and black, creating false realities from scratch. Thoughts and desires warped and slurred--the black mirror shows you only what you want to see and not what true. Trying so hard to see light in the obscure, you stare into it, empty smile procured. Oh, black mirror on the wall, show me what I yearn to see and nothing more. Slit my wrists open and drain out the blood, replace the truth with false hope--show me what I want to see and nothing more. And so it is done. A black mirror, your new soul, dillusion, and demise. A black mirror--where nothing is there: black is the absence of color, and the black mirror the absence of truth; a lying and deceiving illusion, bringer of the poisonous remedy. The one I love, the one I have become. -------------------------------<3 I need to stop listening to The Eagles.
