john1776 Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Ok I went to see my girlfriend today. She was not in the mood for any sexual activity because it's that time of the month for her period. I'd like to know if it is normal for a woman to not be in the mood for sex during her period? Or should I just come to the conclusion that she's not into me anymore? Is it true that if a woman is into her man then she'll be horny 24 hours a day 7 days a week?
magda Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Is it true that if a woman is into her man then she'll be horny 24 hours a day 7 days a week?Um, is that a serious question? The answer is no. A lot of women don't want sex on during that time of the month because they feel "gross".

Yes it is a serious question because I see alot of female posters say that they want sex all the time with their boyfriends/fiancee, etc. Some of them say they have sex with him 6 days a week sometimes 4 times per day. I personally don't mind if there are times that she's not in the mood as long as it doesn't have to do with her interest level in me waning.

Is it true that if a woman is into her man then she'll be horny 24 hours a day 7 days a week? Women tend to be more into having sex a couple of days or a week before theri period, and they don't want to have sex just for the simple fact that it is gross, unless you want to get your redwings, LOL
insomnie Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I thought you were "opposed" to sex? Or should I just come to the conclusion that she's not into me anymore? Is it true that if a woman is into her man then she'll be horny 24 hours a day 7 days a week? Just in case that was a serious question.... no woman will be horny 24/7. And when she's on her period, she might not want to have sex for various reasons. Like, feeling gross because it is messy and she feels bloated, because she is cramping/ feeling crappy, or just because she's trained herself not to be/feel "sexual" when she's menstruating. Are you real?

Are you real? I didn't say I was opposed to sex. I said that I'm opposed to sexual intercourse. I'm all for doing sexual activites outside of intercourse. But again that's beside the point. I don't mind her not being in the mood for sex. I'm more concerned about the reasons behind her not being in the mood. If this is normal during her period then great as long as she's not getting her sexual satisfaction from someone else.
Pink Amulet Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Are you real? Let us just act as though he is John- so you ended the NC then? Why are you opposed to sexual intercourse but not foreplay?
Author john1776 Posted August 18, 2006 Author Posted August 18, 2006 Let us just act as though he is John- so you ended the NC then? Why are you opposed to sexual intercourse but not foreplay? Yes I broke NC Wednseday afternoon out of boredom but I broke it nonetheless. I did 6 days of NC from my side. I'm opposed to intercourse because I don't want to have children. Simple really.
Pink Amulet Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Well I don't want kids yet either, but I love having sex! That whole 99.9% reliabilty of combined birth control (The contraceptive pill, and a condom) is enough to ease most peoples minds... So how old is your GF? What does she do with herself?

That whole 99.9% reliabilty of combined birth control (The contraceptive pill, and a condom) is enough to ease most peoples minds... So how old is your GF? What does she do with herself? I need negative 5% chance of getting her pregnant. And the shocking truth is that all that combined is not 99.9%. I believe it's much lower than what the popular articles say. It's just the pharmecies way to pocket your money. I believe in fate and I don't want to tempt fate by having intercourse with or without the protection. Sexual intercourse is not something I take lightly. Sticking with hand jobs eases my conscience. So what works for me may not work for others. Different strokes for different folks. My girlfriend is 28 and she's a certified nursing asisstant. I'm 26.

No pun intended? :lmao: So- you never want children? Does your GF feel the same way about sexual intercourse, or is she encouraging you to enter her?

What exacly is she not in the mood for during that time of the month that you would like her to be? And this has been bugging me for a while, why is there a john1776 and a john2776 on this board?!?!? Is it the same person??
Author john1776 Posted August 18, 2006 Author Posted August 18, 2006 So, will you never have intercourse with her?? Is it the same person?? No we are not the same person. I already chewed him out earlier on one of his threads for picking a name similar to mine. He has millions of names to choose from and now he's impersonating me.
Author john1776 Posted August 18, 2006 Author Posted August 18, 2006 No pun intended? :lmao: So- you never want children? Does your GF feel the same way about sexual intercourse, or is she encouraging you to enter her? My gf has wanted actual intercourse since the first night of our first date 3.5 years ago. I of course turned her down. My guess is that she would like to take that next step but is accepting what she's getting now.

Is it the same person?? She's not in the mood for any sexual activites at all. Not even touching. Now she's still affectionate with kissing and hugging and holding hands and cuddling. Again I don't have a problem with her not being in the mood as long as it's for the right reasons. The reasons are what concerns me. I've asked her about it during our visit and she says it's because of her period. She's been having cramps and back pain. I figure I would start this thread to find out if she was telling the truth or just telling me what I want to hear.

Author john1776 Posted August 18, 2006 Author Posted August 18, 2006 You want to hear your girlfriend has cramps and back pain? What I want to hear is that she's still into me but just can't engage in sexual activity because of her temporal ailments. If that is not true then I need to know now so I can pull back again and go back to no contact again for a little while.
allina Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Many women feel physically uncomfortable during their periods, it sounds like she is being honest and there is nothing to worry about.

If that is not true then I need to know now so I can pull back again and go back to no contact again for a little while. Here is an idea. "Pull back" and "initiate no contact". FOREVER. Save her the hell.

allina Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I'm not the one who wants to break up with her. Does she want to break up with you?? I'm sorry, I'm confused, why was there NC w/ your gf?

Pink Amulet Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I'm sorry, I'm confused, why was there NC w/ your gf? Don't apologise. Just join us in this John-confusion... There was no reason for NC with her... John, you didn't answer me... what do you do for a living? Is your GF as strange as you?
