She broke up with me on 5/31 to pursue the guy she had started training with.

Here's what she sent me last night, after 4 weeks of NC.

Her: Hi. I'm not sure if contacting you is okay, but I just wanted to say hi and let you know that I've been thinking about you a lot lately. I don't know if you are ready to talk to me, or you have decided that it's better to not talk at

all. I've just be wondering what you're up to, how you have been, etc.

I don't want to overstep any boundaries you have set up, but I am thinking

of you and would like to communicate, if you are willing/okay with it.

Above all, I hope everything is well with you.

Me: I'm doing well. I'm sorry, but I don't see the point in communicating.

What do you all think? Did I made my point clearly?

I think that was really good. Don't ever give out too much information on what your doing with your life, keep it nice and short and thats it.

Leave it at that , this could prolong your pain but your doing the right thing.

When she responds back wait a cuple of days and again respond with a short answer, make it look like you are too busy to talk to the one who broke your heart.

I like your response, well done. For one thing, it doesn't show that you are doing this out of pain. It is because it is simply silly to communicate. Saying something like, "It is too painful right now" would have just put false hope into their mind that they can talk to you someday (some people say things like this).

Excellent! Your answer was to the point. You didn't give out any information about yourself and did not feel a need to inquire about what is going on with her. You didn't spend alot of time talking to her as you have more important things to do and people to see. Hopefully she will see that she is no longer significant in your life and she can't have your attention any time that she thinks she needs it.

What she said.....

Your response was about 13 words too long.

Why even answer? Silence is a much stronger way to say, "You don't deserve to be a part of my life."
