Guest Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I am at the stage with my boyfriend where I can answer his phone when I'm staying over there. Well a few days ago the phone rang and I answered and this woman asked to speak to him and I told her he was at work. Then she asked if I was "his wife". I just automatically relied, "yes" because her question seemed a bit nosey so I thought why should I explain who I am. Then I asked who she was and there was silence. I asked again and then she hung up the phone. I told my bf about it and asked if he knew who it was and he said he had no clue. He said it could even have been a woman he'd given his number to a year ago from internet dating services he used to belong to. Should I make anything out of this? Why do you think she hung up on me? why did she ask who I was then when I asked who she was she hung up? this hasn't happened again.
