SoCalCatman72 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 So I've discovered that most women who smoke will date a non-smoker (provided he doesn't constantly bug them to quit), but almost all non-smoking women refuse to date a smoker...... So I quit smoking.....again. Using the committ lozenge and nicorette gum. It still sucks. One day down, a gazillion to go.....
alphamale Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 but almost all non-smoking women refuse to date a smoker...... I disagree SCC72. I smoke and most of women I've dated in past 10 yrs were non-smokers. Of course I am a considerate smoker because I know it bothers many ppl. Anyways, I find that a smoking male gives off the "bad boy" image superbly. A woman will never look at man who smokes as a "nice guy"....he's automatically put into the bad boy category and thats good if you want to date a lot. Of course the guy smoker also has to have something to offer a non-smoking female otherwise he won't even get a date. Looks, money, good sex....whatever.

Have a feeling I won't be able to stick it out more than an hour though.
Author SoCalCatman72 Posted August 15, 2006 Author Posted August 15, 2006 Thanx guys. I quit smoking coz I've wanted to for a long time. I'm just trying to motivate myself more. Geez alpha.....throw me a freaking bone here =P.
alphamale Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Geez alpha.....throw me a freaking bone here =P. Ok SCC72....why not change your avatar from a beer-drinking feline whos revealing its genetalia to something more conventional?
Author SoCalCatman72 Posted August 15, 2006 Author Posted August 15, 2006 Hey man, that beer drinking feline is me........genitilia and all. You gotta love me for who I am.
Adunaphel Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Also, some women who smoke would actually prefer to date a non-smoker. Congratulations for quitting!
alphamale Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hey man, that beer drinking feline is me........genitilia and all. You gotta love me for who I am. Well if you wanna really quit smoking you've also gotta quit drinkin'
Author SoCalCatman72 Posted August 15, 2006 Author Posted August 15, 2006 Ain't it the truth, that's what broke my last week long quitting session. I was doing fine until I had those Millers.
Pyro Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Also, some women who smoke would actually prefer to date a non-smoker. Congratulations for quitting! I actually got an ex of mine to quit smoking as soon as we started dating. I also heard that after we broke up, she started smoking again. Congrats on breaking the disgusting habit Catman.
alphamale Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Congrats on breaking the disgusting habit Catman. Hey man...tobacco helped to build this country. Read your high school history book
Adunaphel Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I actually got an ex of mine to quit smoking as soon as we started dating. I also heard that after we broke up, she started smoking again. I think that it is not so uncommon. I'd probably quit too if I met a guy who is interesting enough. (Well, probably I'd not really quit. I'd still smoke a cigarette once in a while).
Pyro Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hey man...tobacco helped to build this country. Read your high school history book You are talking to a history buff and I am aware of tobacco's past. That still doesn't change that its disgusting, and expensive. It sucks that this state still has not banned smoking in all public places, like most states already have. I really hope that they consider that soon enough, but I don't see it happening just yet.
a4a Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 You are talking to a history buff and I am aware of tobacco's past. That still doesn't change that its disgusting, and expensive. Yeah but for some of us a pack of smokes a day keeps our murderous tendencies away. I would walk a mile for a Camel............
Pyro Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Yeah but for some of us a pack of smokes a day keeps our murderous tendencies away. I would walk a mile for a Camel............ I use to work with this guy who was a smoking fiend. One day we were on the road together and he was out of smokes and had no money. I refused to lend him the money. He also owed me money from before. He was so grouchy and stressed out for the rest of the day. I felt somewhat bad, but it was also amusing at the same time.

That is just mean. It is an addiction. I think all smokers should get a govt check for disability. As for smoking in public places. I simply will not go to a non smoking establishment. There is actually a smoking airline gearing up to start flying soon.

Hey man, you are brave. I think teasing someone who is having a nic fit is justification for homocide in some states.
burning 4 revenge Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Anyways, I find that a smoking male gives off the "bad boy" image superbly. A woman will never look at man who smokes as a "nice guy"....he's automatically put into the bad boy category and thats good if you want to date a lot. That's BS Alpha. I smoke and it manages to keep me out of the gym. I think a much bigger part of the bad boy image is to be buff and in good health. Chicks want somebody who's bad, because they are confident enough to break the rules at the expense of others due to their strength, looks, finances, etc...not guys who are stupid enough to break the rules that only effect their own strength, looks, hygiene

I simply will not go to a non smoking establishment. There is actually a smoking airline gearing up to start flying soon. Only if I get a check for biting my finger nails. (my bad addiction) Hey man, you are brave. I think teasing someone who is having a nic fit is justification for homocide in some states. I guess that I couldn't say that I was asking for it. He smokes newports, which I can't stand the smell of. I can actually tolerate most brands, but newports are the worst of them all.

Nicest guy I know smokes half a pack a day.
Pyro Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Perhaps I can use this defense in my near future. thank you! I think that I may need to reconsider our rendezvous in CanCun.
a4a Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I think that I may need to reconsider our rendezvous in CanCun. ehhh....... as long as I can have an occassional smoke... like after great sex or a awesome meal...... you are safe And if you tempt me with a trip to Cancun one more time you best put your money where your mouth is! At this point I would very much consider running off with another man
