I was just wondering that last week, I went on the scale and it said that I lost 29 or 30 lbs but this week it said that I gained 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. I watch what I eat and I splurge sometimes but its rare, I exercise about 4 to 5 times a week but yet a dress that I have couldn't fit me a few weeks ago and can fit me now. I don't understand. Should I go by the scales or how my clothes fits?

I'd rather pay attention to clothes. Depending on what type of exercise you're doing, you may actually gain weight but trim down. Muscle is more dense than fat, so if you're building muscle and reducing fat, you're increasing your density and getting healthier.

The clothes always make me feel better, but the scales can disappoint. No one will see your weight, but they will see the lack of inches.
