SoCalCatman72 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Ok, here's an interesting one. At what point does age differential become creepy? I ask this because I always seem to keep attracting younger (19-22) yr old women. I'm 33, but being asian, I look like I'm 25 (I get carded all the time for drinks). Having been through an interesting life, and being divorced I have been told that I have the maturity level of a 40 yr old. So I guess this looks 25 acts 40 combination is somehow irresistable. So there's this cute girl at CVS where I go to buy my beer, and I'm pretty sure she's like 20 or so, but she make the cutest eyes at me whenever I go in and always tries to flirt with me, teasing me about my multiple failed attempts at quitting smoking. Bearing in mind that I am abstinent, and this is not just a dirty old man looking to get into a young girl's pants, is being 12-13 years older than her creepy? I guess I ask because I feel like women my age are looking for a man who is "successful". Someone who can support them, has a house, a nice car, etc. so they can settle down and have babies, while the younger ones seem to be more understanding that a man with focus, drive and ambition will eventually one day be "successful". Maybe because they are younger and have more time ahead of them, they are willing to have faith in a man's ability to succeed in time. I dunno, I just know that if I'm so tired of being alone.
burning 4 revenge Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Hey man, if you were a girl all of the women would be telling you to go for it, that you deserve it, etc, etc, but... .....since you're a guy I'm guessing that they'll flame you for being a creep. Not trying to start things up ,I'm just sayin. I'm 32 and personally I prefer older women, but I'm starting to lose my hair and have sex problems, so I guess you gravitate toward what you feel comfortable with.
scobro Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 i am 35 and dated a girl who was 23.It was awesome she was georgeous sex was amazing and it's the most attracted I have ever been to a woman but I fell for her way to hard and soon and in the end got hurt.If the girl is mature and doesn't have a lot of baggage and issues age is no matter at all.I actually prefer younger women too.
stoopid_guy Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 What point does it start getting creepy? Who cares? As long as you and the lady are happy, don't worry about it. I would make it a point early on to let her know your age, but otherwise... Some folks are going to think it's strange, but they're probably the same ones who would think it strange to have a height difference, or weight difference, or "charisma" difference, or income difference, or....
monkey00 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I dont see any reason to be self conscious about this. plenty of women and guys out there that date with a 10 year difference or more. things have been like this since the beginning of time and apparently it hasnt changed at all. Plenty of examples: Hughe Hefner Donald Trump

allina Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 21-23 and 33 doesn't sound of the creepy alarm for me, BUT you said you have the personality of a 40 year old so what about such a young woman (other than her being cute) appeals to you??

scobro Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 She probably has nice titties. EXACTLY RIGHT ON THE MONEY "SHOT":lmao:
burning 4 revenge Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 i'm glad this thread is making us look so much better than all those bubble-headed women
everybody_chill Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 i'm glad this thread is making us look so much better than all those bubble-headed women Truth is invaluable. Titties are the biggest asset most women have now - and believe me they use it to their advantage.

everybody_chill Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 what if you are'nt into "titties" That would most likely stupidfy a woman. It may even leave her speechless with no where else to turn.
burning 4 revenge Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 That would most likely stupidfy a woman. It may even leave her speechless with no where else to turn.she'll turn to another man for one
Author SoCalCatman72 Posted August 10, 2006 Author Posted August 10, 2006 21-23 and 33 doesn't sound of the creepy alarm for me, BUT you said you have the personality of a 40 year old so what about such a young woman (other than her being cute) appeals to you?? She has this sweetness and innocence I don't really find in women my age. She seems playful, like a little kitten, and makes the most beautiful eyes when she's flirting. Psychologically speaking, there's also the proximity issue, I mean it's pretty obvious to me that she has a huge crush on me. She probably has nice titties. perhaps, but it's so hard to tell under those baggy uniform shirts.
dgiirl Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 My guy friend dates 20-something year olds (he's 33). I dont really see it too much of a problem. It might be a little weird, since she probably still has homework lol, but if the two of you are happy, why not, more power to you I've had a few 45 year olds hit on me online, and I felt a little weird, and then I had another guy hit on me in person and only after found out his age, and it didnt creep me out TOO much. But still, it's a personal preference. Anyone younger than I, makes me weirded out too. I think I'd rather someone within my own age group (i'm 32). But I wouldnt think any different of a 30-something dating a 20-something. A 40-something to 20, yah, maybe that's getting a little weird. I think it crosses the line when in 40 years from now, you'll be 70, and the woman will still be 40 or 50. That's not practical. If you really are interested in her as a person, and not just objectifying her as a sexual object, go for it
hotgurl Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 My BF of 5 years is 19 years older than me and I am very happy. He can keep up in the sex department and is sweet funny considerate and accomplished. It's not creepy. I am 27 he's 46
blind_otter Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 My Dad was 22 years older than my Mom. I'm 26 and I refuse to date men who are younger than 30. I don't think it's creepy. Some people do, but whatever, they obviously aren't looking to date you and viceversa,so no biggie. Go for it SCCM.

I am 27 he's 46 yes but does he support you finacially?if yes then thats a big reason why you are with this guy.If it's not, good on ya
hotgurl Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 yes but does he support you finacially?if yes then thats a big reason why you are with this guy.If it's not, good on ya No we both pay equally for the house we own together. All expenses we split 50/50 except for personal expenses which are paid 100% by the person. He is really good in bed and a good father figure to my daughter. Although I do have to say I probably wouldn't be in a house if I were with a younger guy but that is not why I am with him. We were renting for 4.5 years.
burning 4 revenge Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 This is a good thread and I have a question. I'm 32 and want to start dating again in the next couple of months, or years ,or so.... ........and I'm wondering what is the right age range. I'm thinking 30-45. Does that sound reasonable?
monkey00 Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 ROFL  :lmao: I'm sorry but couldn't you find some examples that were broke, average looking and about as well known as the fly that just landed on the monitor..................correction, the fly that is now a greasy smudge on the monitor. Well, im sure i could have. But just to show you how pimpin these fly old guys really are, but then again they attract gold diggers. ok here's a real example, my ex was/is seeing this guy 10 yrs older than her. I know another issue at hand could be your morals/values/expectations of yourself. if you dont feel right about it then look for prospects elsewhere, it doesnt have to be the cashier girl.
allina Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 ........and I'm wondering what is the right age range. I'm thinking 30-45. Does that sound reasonable? Whatever age you want, within reason. Would you not date a woman more than 2 years younger than you?? I would expect someone your age to seek women from 25 or so.
