vi_pn Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 The other day I was with my guy (casual lover) just hanging out, kissin',doin' our thang...and we started talking about songs...well sorta. He went into the kitchen to get something to eat and started singing the lyrics to "crazy b*tch" by Buckcherry. He came back in to where I was and asked me if I had heard of the song, I said no. He said it was a good song, but that was it...next subject. Well today I listened to the song...and I guess I was kinda shocked, especially since he asked me about it. Is it a sign, or am I looking too far into it? Should I take offense to it, if he mentioned it to me? I've only argued with him once since I've known him, and that was about our relationship. But I was defending myself, so I may have acted like a b*tch but I did it out of self-respect. That was about 6 months ago. But since then our relationship has been fine. So at any rate....I'm just curious...is it a good thing or a bad thing?
megnog Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 its not a big deal. i think you are reading too much into this one.. its just a song he likes. now i'd only start thinking its a sign if all of the songs he likes have nasty mean titles.
everybody_chill Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Of course you should take offense to that song. You should also be hella - paranoid and totally misconstrue most of his behavior. You are in good company, because most women do this!

He may only like it for the same reason as me, so don't jump to any conclusions. If he actually enjoys the lyrics in that way, then I would be worried.

RecordProducer Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Of course you should take offense to that song. You should also be hella - paranoid and totally misconstrue most of his behavior. You are in good company, because most women do this! I can imagine what you would think if he asked you: "Where is the knife?" The thing is - if you feel like your name was called by the mention of the phrase "crazy bitch"... hm... Just kiddin', hun. Relax!
Poboy Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 im a death metal vocalist so you can imagine what my So goes through when she hears Cannibal Corpse n stuff , dont worry ... its maybe a catchy nice tune song , thats it

He may well be doing that, many completely ignore lyrics. Much more important questions: How does he talk to you? How does he treat you? Do you feel good about yourself when he's around?
Guest Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 My boyfriend actually have that song as his ringtone when I call him.. I think it's funny and I know his friends think it is just a joke.
