burning 4 revenge Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I was just reading about this online and apparently you can finance these. I have an emerging lake of skin on my crown that's making me suicidal and I hate it. Anybody have any opinions about hair transplants? Any experiences?

I have an emerging lake of skin on my crown that's making me suicidal and I hate it. Anybody have any opinions about hair transplants? Any experiences? Hair transplant...suicide. Hair transplant...suicide. Hmmmm, it's a tough decision but I'd go with the hair transplant. A friend of mine did this and he's happy but beyond that I don't know.
Author burning 4 revenge Posted August 10, 2006 Author Posted August 10, 2006 that was just a dramatic expression, but given some other threads i guess i have to be careful about the words i use
Tony T Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I was just reading about this online and apparently you can finance these. I have an emerging lake of skin on my crown that's making me suicidal and I hate it. Anybody have any opinions about hair transplants? Any experiences? Many people have exceptional results from a medication called Propecia. It has shown some nasty side effects in some people but overall it has proven an excellent way to keep the hair you have and to grow hair back if the folicles aren't destroyed. The only problem, you have to keep taking the medication. Once you do, the hair falls back out. Hair transplantation has come a long way. They now do it by single hair rather than in clusters. Doctors are able to make your front hairline far more smooth and undetectible as a transplant. If you go the transplant route, you should have no problems.
Author burning 4 revenge Posted August 10, 2006 Author Posted August 10, 2006 I just started taking Propecia this month. I want to do the transplant when I finish grad school, but I've heard some horror stories too. Thinking about Bosley ,but damn he's expensive.
Outcast Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I've seen some people with nasty scars and others on whom it looks very evident. Honestly, lack of hair is not a big deal unless you have a massively deformed skull. Bald is INFINITELY superior to a Trumpian Combover or a scarhead!!!!!
HokeyReligions Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I just keep seeing that commericial with two news anchors - the guy steals the girls moolata and she reaches over and pulls his hair plugs out and you can hear them riiippppp.... Talk to some doctors - balding is a big issue for some people and if it makes you feel better and you an afford it -- AND -- its as safe as possible then go for it. Just remember you get what you pay for - don't skimp on the quality of the doctor if you don't want to skimp on your hair.
seven Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Have you considered just shaving your hair off. Like Andre Agassi, Howie Mandel, Bruce Willis, etc. ... looks good on them. Cheaper too. Just a suggestion. Oh just saw Outcast's post ...yeah I vote bald too.

He's a bit too buff for me. But a real good place for finance if you haven't found it already is Capital One. They have loans just for Cosmetic Surgery.

Please whatever you do. DON'T DO THE COMB OVER!!! I hate it when guys do that. Ever see what happens when the wind blows?
Author burning 4 revenge Posted August 10, 2006 Author Posted August 10, 2006 Please whatever you do. DON'T DO THE COMB OVER!!! I hate it when guys do that. Ever see what happens when the wind blows? no, no i hate those. i'll keep my hair really short like this for life, it suits me. sometimes, i think i want to cover up the scalp though. the thing about transplants is that you can buy x amount of grafts for strategic coverage, but you need a good doctor, or you can get screwed and look even worse. far worse. so, it's a big decision. even more consequential than israel's decision to invade lebanon
P1xie Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 i'm built more like steve buscemi I had to look up who he was. I'm not good with actors names. Now I know he's from the Reservoir Dogs. seven Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 by b4r: Is it like a yomaka? Hint, hint ... here's a little help from Adam Sandler (the comedian/actor -- it's funny the way he sings this song): The Chanukah Song Lyrics "... There's a lot of Christmas songs out there and uhh..not too many Chanukah songs. So uhh..I wrote a song for all those nice little Jewish kids who don't get to hear any Chanukah songs. Here we go..." Put on your yamaka Here comes Chanukah So much funukah To celebrate Chanukah Chanukah is the festival of lights Instead of one day of presents, we have eight crazy nights When you feel like the only kid in town without a Christmas tree Here's a list of people who are Jewish just like you and me David Lee Roth lights the menorah So do James Caan, Kirk Douglas, and the late Dinah Shore-ah Guess who eats together at the Carnegie Deli Bowser from Sha Na Na and Arthur Fonzerelli Paul Newman's half Jewish, Goldie Hawn's half too Put them together, what a fine lookin' Jew You don't need "Deck The Halls" or "Jingle Bell Rock" 'Cause you can spin a dreidel with Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock- both Jewish Put on your yarmulke It's time for Chanukah The owner of the Seattle Supersonicahs Celebrates Chanukah O.J. Simpson, not a Jew But guess who is? Hall of famer Rod Carew- he converted We got Ann Landers and her sister Dear Abby Harrison Ford's a quarter Jewish- not too shabby Some people think that Ebenezer Scrooge is Well he's not, but guess who is All three Stooges So many Jews are in showbiz Tom Cruise isn't, but I heard his agent is Tell your friend Veronica It's time to celebrate Chanukah I hope I get a harmonicah Oh this lovely, lovely Chanukah So drink your gin and tonicah And smoke your marijuanikah and tell bill and monica to Have a happy, happy, happy, happy Chanukah Happy Chanukah :lmao:
