How many years/ months until you met someone else that you had strong feelings for? Not a rebound but another love? Very curious to know?

How many years/ months until you met someone else that you had strong feelings for? Not a rebound but another love? Very curious to know?

 

The first time was a little over a year and the most recent was only three months, both were unexpected of course.

hmmm... i had my first bf when i was 16... broke up with him 6 months after... then 2 years later i had this "i dont know what you call it" with a friend of a friend... Neither of the guys I loved. then 2 years later i met my (now ex)h, got married, was in love and in a relationship for 10 years, now i've been separated for 1.5 years. So, who wants to have a "I dont know what you call it" with me? lol

 

Do people actually "date"? I dont think I've ever gone on a "date". I just always end up in relationships. How do you date?

11 years between loves. I had boyfriends inbetween that I really genuinely liked though.

18-20 months between the two significant relationships. There were some interm dates and people, but nothing serious.

I had my first relation when I was 14yrs old (a freshmen in highschool), and it lasted for an entire year (ended sophomore year of highschool).

 

My next boyfriend (a year and a half later; end of Junior year) I was only with for 4 or 5 months. I honestly don't remember it much . It wasn't a serious or life-learning-experience type of relationship.

 

My following boyfriend (a year later, end of Senior year) I was with for three months, but it was one of the most magical experiences of my life. I'll never forget it.

 

My next boyfriend, who has been my currently significant other ever since, I met a year later, after my freshmen year of college, during the summer. I've been with him ever since. Yeah, if anyone's done the math, I'm somewhere in my 20's.

 

 

 

Whoa... now that I just wrote that all out... I NEVER realized until right now that all my boyfriends are almost a year apart from each other. Hmmm.

I guess it looks like people have a steady relationship going again 1.5-3 years later, unless you are Canadian then we just seek out the person with the most beer and wait until we sober up years later.
