Confuggled_one Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 So, me and my (ex) gf have been going out for an year. we have had many fights and i had to lie to her about many things. however, recently i have changed, and i really do not lie anymore. i was talking to a friend two days ago and i told her that i lied to my ex and that i was really wrong. but she said that my ex treated me really bad and that i should just leave her. but i did not say anything negative about my ex whatsoever. now my ex thinks ive been telling the world **** about her, and that im a liar again. i dont really care because i know i wasnt lying. however, i dont want her to continue to think that i am a liar. i called her and left her a message.. telling her we should not drag other people into this problem and that we shoudl solve it ourselves.. i just want a peaceful ending and that i hope she can return my call. do you guys think i should keep calling until she calls back.. or just let it be? thamks
Author Confuggled_one Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 sorry, i forgot to mention that the lies were not lies about cheating or anything. they were only about how friends disliked her.. and that was what i lied about.
Keltie Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 The biggest problem is with trust. That's the basis of relationships. I'd say let it be and let it work it out for a while. If you keep calling it's like fuel to the fire.
Author Confuggled_one Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 okay. thank you for your respond. i will try to keep it cool and live my life. it's just that it's very frustrating because i really wasnt lying right now and im still labelled as one.
