kbah Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 My bf and I broke up after 1.25 years for almost a month. I think I was not in love with him most of the relationship...but definitely LOVED him. We got back together and have been for the past 4 months. I have never been so in love. What changed? It has grown and just feels different. I love it and it gets better each day. Our communication is better, we're honest, more caring. It's great. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
davistev Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Maybe you both appreciated each other more once you realised how lonely you both were without each other?
destination_unknown Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 You probably learned alot from the experience of the break - up, Maybe it was something fate just had to do so you could both be in the right place for love. Gosh, that was very sentimental of me!
cantshakethelove Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 I can strongly relate. The major demise of my past relationship was my obsession with work and the money it brought in. I took my stress out on her and with my schooling and work, I just could not handle all three major things in my life. One had to go and sadly I let her go. I strongly believe that if I had not broken up with her I would still be working and I would still be a mess. We now communicate better and we seem to care and understand each other a whole lot more. Its very nice to have such a strong connection with her. I am very happy.
