I recently got a call from someone I had dated six months ago. I broke it off because I had ended up in this relationship due to her rebounding. She wanted 110% of my time, and lived an hour away. So we hadn't seen or talked with each other for 6 months, then we talk, go on a trip together for a few days, almost have sex, then start kind of dating. But not ordinary dates. Mostly I go over to her house, we visit with near-by neighbors, and go to bed -- to sleep. Don't get me wrong, I have no trouble going out to nice places or doing things, but this isn't what she seems to want to do. Usually the plans are vague, and I never know what I'm doing. She calls several times per day usually, and we make small tallk. One morning as I was leaving i said to her that I am sleeping in the same bed with you but I don't know if I'm supposed to kiss you hello or good-bye. Her affection has cooled since the trip about a month ago, and the reason she says is that she has to be cautious, yet nearly eveyday we are talking several times per day. Well, hell, I ain't asking her to swing from the chandelier, but a little on-going affection would be nice: a kiss, holding hands, anything. Even an invitation to go out, instead of me always asking. I told her that I would be interested in having a realtionship with her, and she did say that this was a "second" chance thing, so now I find that I am dating my sister it seems. So what is it: 1, A potential girlfriend; 2., A confused women (remember she called me out of the blue); or 3, She wants to be my sister.

Yeah, I think you two are right. This is the third time we have "dated", and the first time she ended it by vanishing. Suddenly, like now, phone calls not returned and a coolness and finally the email that tells me why. Turns out she met somebody online and was going to get married after 3 months. He ended up using and abusing and that is how I got back in the picture for round 2. Odd though, last week I was chastized for not returning a call in 3 hours' time. My cell died and no charger was available. I guess what' good for the goose is only good for the goose. Live and learn. Fool me thrice? Yes. Not again. Round three, over.
