I suppose it should be obvious that we wouldn't meet so soon if it wasn't in order to possibly date each other, but how can I make it so it will appear as if the whole idea was his own? I mean, he basically asked what I was doing this weekend and we're planning on getting together then. Would there really be a possibility that he might think it's just as a friend?

BUT it sounds like he's probably having some romantic intentions. if he's asking you what you are doing this weekend then he's technically asking you out. so, he's interested to say the least. but to not make it too overwhelming... that's not too hard.. just tell him whats on your mind about it.. but make it casual so you don't spook him. ask him questions like if he's looking for a relationship right now or he'd rather be single at the moment.

Just incase... How long have you been talking to this guy online? Take it slow. There is NO reason to jump into anything fast.
rina_r Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Ok, i just had such experience. I met a guy online but after some talking we had a break and i thought he did not like me. A week ago i threw an invite on the board and invited everyone to join me to a club party and... he wanted to go. We met in a club, but i came earlier and was talking to other people. So the first 2 hrs we spent sociolizing in a company and later were left to ourselves. We had the 2nd date next day, and so far have plans for this Friday.
