We're thinking about dating but both decided we should set things out alittle more instead of rushing into everything. Iam 17 and he is 18. He's been telling me alot of things lately, like that he wants to get an apartment when hes out of school in 1 year, and he says when iam aloud and older i can move in with him as well. He talks alot about these things, and becoming more as a couple. When i asked him if he was actually serious about all this, he said yes, cuz i said you are joking right? and he said no not really. How do i know that he's true to his words? Like, he is a very nice guy, and for me the "independent Girl", i have a hard time dating, but it's like he gives me my space and we're okay. The only thing is i have friends that think i shouldnt be with him, and some friends tell me not to believe anything he says, and his ex girlfriend has posted everywheres on sites that he's mean and a player. I dont want to say he is, cause i feel he's a great guy, even my parents like him. He is reposible with money, time, everything. So please tell me what you think, cause iam not sure, i want to be with him, but do you think he's true to his words? I know iam still young and have lots of time, but i just want to know that it's not gonna be just over. Thanks.

There could be a possiblity of them being jelous of your relationship which is one reason why a few of my relationships have been if you put it" took out of my hands".. thro my ex's mates persuading her ways she might not have choose. single friends are always gonna get you to choose between them and your relationship. Just think of it that way. It all depends how much you wanna relationship with him and how much you trust your friends to be friends rather then people that you know that are jelous of your situation.
