toya8177 Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 I had been interested in this guy for quite sometime. I was so excited when he asked me for my phone number. But he never called. I saw him again a month later and he gave told me to write down his number. I did call and we started to build a friendship over a few months and then I started to want him to be a part of my life. He is an artist and I teach so I invited him to speak at my school but although he told me he was interested in speaking to my students he never finalized anything with me. He also could not give me a current phone number because he said his girlfriend wouldn't like that. So I wrote him a letter telling him I was no longer interested in him and giving him the reasons why and that it wouldn't be a good idea for him to come and speak to my class. He left me two messages saying I had him all wrong. I responded by sending another letter. But we never talked again until he called me three months later and gave me his new cell phone number and told me where he was living at and said he wanted to be friends. I asked him was he dating anybody and he told me no. I proceeded to start the friendship over again but realized after speaking to him that although we never talked he was hurt by some of the things I said in the letter and it came up whenever we talked. I invited him to paint my class and I was going to pay him. Three times he said he would do it but the last excuse was that his fiance doesn't want him doing another woman's class. All of a suddent he has a fiance or better yet girlfriend. I couldn't understand what was going on. I even asked him why did he call me in the first place if he is involved with somebody. But he couldn't answer. I also noticed it was very difficult for him to see me in person after our second fight. We called each other all day and at the end we agreed to still be on speaking terms. He called me the next day and said he wanted to be friends and wanted to do my class like he had promised. I told him that would be fine. The following week I called him to see if we could sit down and talk with each other face to face but he said he could not do that and then told me again that he could not do my class because his fiance does not want him to do another woman's class. So this last conversation was another big fight because he had told me too many times he wanted to do my class and he was going to do a great job. I of course blew up his phone. I know I was wrong for doing that but I am hurt by everything. We have gotten close physically in the past before the letters but never had sex. I really liked this guy he is just difficult to understand. He changed his number because he said I was going to mess up his relationship. Why did he call me after three months if he wasn't interested in me? I wish I wouldn't have allowed him back in my life.
