Where are you coming from? Want hope that it will go away? If so, no contact only answer.
Becoming Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 If it's an EA and never has been a PA, then talking on the phone, email means the affair is continuing unless it's solely for business and can't be avoided. Even then, if the person wants to continue to be married, they should avoid even business contact, changing jobs if necessary in order to order to save the marriage. See marriagebuilders web site.

An EA does not need phyiscal contact. And EA can last for many, many years even with limited physical contact (meaning chat, emails, calls). An EA is far more dangerious then a PA because more is revealed personally. Once a long-term EA become a PA it generally turns into a full-blown EMR. Which can produce divorce due to the strength of the emotional ties between the two parties.

An EA will not necessarily diminish because it is over the phone and via e-mail. In fact, the very unreality of the situation could actually cause it to grow.
