globalgatherer Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Now I might be jumping the gun here, but I'm 19 currently in a steady job, living in a nice house comfortably. Recently at my work a young girl named F we'll say from now on started working for us temp. She was with us for 2 weeks before the previous staff returned and obviously there was no space available for her as its a company receptionist job. On the last day of the week of which she was going I asked her what she was doing the weekend stating she had to go see her mum who lives miles away because her parents are seperated I could agree with because I'm in the same boat, so I asked her about the week after she said yeah sure, we both agreed on Sunday because I was away on Friday and I was running my town center on Saturday for charity and then out for a b'day in the evening. Anyway because the weather was baking hot and were both thrill seekers we decided for the giggles to bog off to a Theme Park just to have a laugh and try and scare the life out of each other. Now I'm not sure if I should pursue any further, while there when she was nervous she was gripping my hand and leaning in closer to me (for comfort, I dunno) and we just yapped on all day. Now the reason why I'm lost is should I pursue this matter because she has a boyfriend, should I take it in the light that instead of doing what she normally does on a Sunday (Watching her b/f play football(soccer to you americans ) she came out with me, or do I not make an ass of myself and take it as just friends. Getting home was always going to be a problem for us because my car was at my house and I stayed in the town the night at a friends. Now I told her she could come back with me and I'd give her a lift home if she wanted she said that she would aslong as her boyfriend didn't call and wanted her to go over his (yes he rang because one of F's friends told him that she was going out today with someone) and she had to change her mind because she didn't want him to know that she had been out with me the whole day by me dropping her off (makes sense), before she got in the taxi home she asked what were doing next week, sadly I AM away mountain climbing and the week after I'm going to a trance festival so I had to say we'll think of something between those to weeks and ill give her a call and she acknowledged me. So all in all I'm new to this taking a girl out with a boyfriend thing, I'm looking for some advice off people who have done it and its pulled off or it hasn't before I start getting any of my own bright idea's. melbourneboy Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Well its good that you guys had a great time, but if she has a boyfriend shes probly not wanting any more of you than Friendship. All i think is that if i was the boyfriend i would be a little pissed off with my Girl. would u want ur girlfriend hanging out with another guy all day and having a Ball. I think not. Thats just me
